On May 23, 2024, Gulshad Abikova, the head of the Manuscripts Department of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Prof. Zubeida Shadkam, the head of the Scientific Research Center for Written Works and Cultural Heritage of Al-Farabi University, and Dr. Nazim Khairanbayova, a researcher of the same center, visited the Mevlana Institute for Literary and Philosophical Studies Khazar University. The guests got acquainted with the activities of the institute and discussed prospects for joint cooperation. Director of the institute, doctor of philological sciences Nazakat Mammadli presented the guests with the book "Sheikh Farideddin Attar and Azerbaijani literature" published by the institute.

Then the guests met Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University, chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, and exchanged ideas on research and publications at Al-Farabi and Khazar universities, and agreed on the organization of joint events.

At the end of the meeting, Hamlet Isakhanli presented his works to the guests and took a memory photo.
