Political Sciences and Philosophy Department Head Participates in Virtual West Azerbaijan Portal Presentation Ceremony

On May 8, 2024, the head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy Dr. Orkhan Valiyev, participated in the presentation ceremony of the Virtual Western Azerbaijan portal at the Baku Book Center. The portal was created with the support and organization of the West Azerbaijan Community, as well as the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Elvin Abbasov, department head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Dr. Aziz Alakbarli, chairman of the Board of the West Azerbaijan Community, MP Dr. Aziz Alakbarli delivered opening remarks at the event. Later, historical scientists gave information about the site.

As it is known, the West Azerbaijan Community started its institutional activity with the visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on December 24, 2022.
