On April 22, 2024, a meeting was held with the delegation of Kahramanmaraş Sütçu Imam University at Khazar University. The  meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Alptekin Yasim, the rector of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü Imam University, Prof. Dr. Nuri Kahveci, the vice-rector, Prof. Dr. Orhan Dogan, the second vice-rector, Ali Riza Bekler, the general secretary, Hamiran Amirli, the education representative, as well as Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli,the rector Irada Khalilova, Isakhan Isakhanli,  the vice rector for Management and Student Affairs,  Alovsat Amirbeyli, the director of Public Relations and Media, faculty deans and representatives.

The meeting started with Hamlet Isakhanli's introductory speech, then Khazar University Rector Irada Khalilova and Kahramanmaras Sutçu Imam University Rector  Prof. Dr. Alptekin Yasim gave information about the general activities of the universities. Then, the head of the International Relations Department, Fatima Valiyeva, delivered a presentation about Khazar University.

After the speeches, a memorandum was signed between Khazar University and Kahramanmaraş Sütçü Imam University and  gifts were exchanged.

 As part of the meeting agenda, the rector and the delegation from Kahramanmaraş Sütçü Imam University visited Dunya School, where they toured the library, classrooms, and laboratories before participating in an excursion to the Nailekhanim museum.

Marufa Madatli, the director of the Azerbaijan and Russian sections of the Dunya School, Aynur Hasanova, the head of the Dunya Kindergarten, Parvin Karimova, deputy dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences of Khazar University, gave detailed information to the guests about their activities. During the visit to the Narimanov campus of Khazar University, the guests observed classrooms and got acquainted with the teaching process. The program concluded with a city tour and dinner arranged for the guests.
