On March 28, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., under the organization of the Khazar University Career and Alumni Center, students of the School of Science Sciences and Engineering went on a field trip to "Yeni Yashma" Wind Power Park of Azerishiq OJSC, the largest wind power park in the South Caucasus. Under the guidance of special mentors, students learned the intricacies of wind energy production, HSE practices, information about wind turbines. Engaging discussions and hands-on activities deepened students' knowledge of horizontal axis wind turbines (HAWTs) and their importance in renewable energy generation. During the excursion, the students were informed about the technical equipment and the rules of their use from the chief engineer Rasim Aliyev, engineers Mehdi Valiyev, Ilkin Mammadov, Arslan Mammadov and technician Iman Suleymanzade in the training laboratory. The students expressed their gratitude to "Yeni Yashma" and "Azerishiq" OJSC teams for their support and experience.
