From March 1 to 7, 2024, the World Youth Festival was held in Sochi, Russia. The purpose of the festival was to bring together progressive young people concerned about the future of the planet, to hold a series of scientific and educational events, as well as open discussions.
Aynur Rzayeva, a Ph.D. candidate and instructor of the Department of English Language and Literature represented Khazar University in the World Youth Festival. Different organizations from Azerbaijan attended the event. The festival aimed to foster a collective vision for the future development of youth.
Note that, the event has brought together young leaders and specialists representing fields such as international relations, entrepreneurship, science, culture, sports, media, charity, and volunteering from more than 180 countries. In total, about twenty thousand people took part in the event, ten thousand of them from Russia, and the rest from foreign countries.
