An article and a photo detailing the two-day business trip undertaken by the Khazar University delegation to the Joint Institute for  Nuclear Research of the Russian Federation (JINR) was published in issue No. 4 of the “Dubna” weekly newspaper of the institute dated February 01, 2024.

The article talks about the meetings and discussions held by the delegation led by Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli,  chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees of Khazar University ( Dr. Farida Tatardar, head of the Department of Physics and Electronics and Sudaba Davaran, professor of biomedical, medical and chemical fields, head of the university's research group) with JINR director Grigory Trubnikov and other senior employees in the laboratories of the institute. It was noted that in the meeting with the directorate of the institute, perspectives were determined in the direction of enhancing mutual relations between Azerbaijan and JINR.

The article underscores Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli's remarks during the discussions, wherein he said that the primary objective of the visit is to fortify scientific ties between the scientific institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and JINR.
