On February 23, 2024, Mustafa Mohammad Ahmad Alalawneh, PhD student in 5310.01- “World Economy" of Khazar University, defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on “Assessing the Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Jordan's Economic Development “ at the dissertation Council FD 1.11 at Azerbaijan State University of Economics granting degrees Doctor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy.

At the meeting chaired by the chairman of the dissertation council, Prof. Yadulla H.Hasanli, the questions of the board members were answered.

The Dissertation Council decided that the applicant can be granted Ph.D. degree taking into account the opinions of official opponents, individual scientists on the dissertation and its abstract, applicant's 6 articles and 5 conference materials published in local and foreign scientific journals, and that the dissertation’s meeting the requirements of the High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
