Commencement of Semi-Final Selections for the "2nd National Consecutive Interpretation Contest”

The initial phase of selecting participants for the semi-final round of the "2nd National Consecutive Interpretation Contest,” organized by Khazar University's Department of English Language and Literature, is underway. On December 12, Dr. Milana Abbasova, the head of the English Language and Literature Department, Dr.Elvin Abbasbeyli, the lecturer and coordinator of the Center of Translation and Interpretation (CTI) affiliated with the department, along with the lecturer of the mentioned department Zamira Gurbanova, visited Azerbaijan University to assess and evaluate candidates who applied.

It's important to mention that the selection process is ongoing, and selection rounds are planned at other universities offering translation programs.

Moreover, the final stage of the competition is scheduled to take place on May 15, 2024, at 15:00 in the Marble Hall of Khazar University's Neftchilar campus.
