On December 7-8, 2023, Dr. Mustafa Soylak, a professor from Erciyes University in Türkiye, visited Khazar University for a two-day session.

During the initial day of the visit, Dr. Mustafa Soylak conducted a seminar titled "New Trends in Determination of Trace Organic and Inorganic Species in Environmental Samples". The seminar was attended by university teachers, professors, doctoral students, and invited guests.

On the second day, a meeting took place with students from Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, and Chemistry-Biology Education. The session involved discussions about Dr. Mustafa Soylak's academic and professional endeavors, and he shared valuable advice with the students. The meeting followed a discussion format, concluding with a question-and-answer session involving the students.

The two-day event was attended by Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, along with professors, teaching staff from the School of Science and Engineering, doctoral students, and guests from the "Sukanal" Scientific Research and Project Institute, the Medical University, and the Physics Institute of ANAS.
