On November 16, 2023, Khazar University hosted a gathering with representatives of Pakistan's Sialkot University.

The attendees included the founder of Sialkot University and chairman of the Board of Directors Faisal Manzoor, along with university staff members Rehan Younas and Irfan Magsood. Representatives from Khazar University present at the meeting included Rector Irada Khalillova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Mahammad Nuriyev, Dean of the School of Economics and Management Jeyhun Mammadov, Acting Dean of the Graduate School of Science, Art, and Technology Mahammad Eldarov, Head of the International Relations Department Fatima Valiyeva, Assistant to the Rector Humay Huseynova, and Nailekhanim scholarship recipient, Pakistani student Monireh Bahrami.

At the meeting, the administration of both universities provided concise overviews about the universities and explored potential avenues for future collaboration. Fatima Valiyeva delivered a presentation about Khazar University.

Rector Irada Khalilova highlighted Khazar University's keen interest in facilitating collaborative initiatives such as faculty and student exchanges, joint projects, as well as organizing conferences and seminars with universities in Pakistan. The discussions during the meeting focused on fostering comprehensive cooperation between the two universities. The session concluded with the rector extending a gift to the guests on behalf of Khazar University.
