On October 31, 2023, Khazar University hosted a meeting with the staff of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan.

Yurdagül Aydoğan, the embassy's educational adviser, Ali Aköz, the employee of the advisory, the founder of Khazar University, the chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanlı, rector of the University Irada Khalilova, vice-rector for Educational Affairs Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbeyli, director of the Quality Assurance Center Lyudmila Sotova, dean of the School of Economics and Management Jeyhun Mammadov, dean of the School of Science and Engineering Fakhranda Efendiyeva, head of the Department of History and Archeology Telman Nusratoghlu, deputy dean of the Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology Mahammad Eldarov, head of International Relations Department Fatima Valiyeva participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, Fatima Valiyeva delivered a presentation on Khazar University and its ongoing initiatives, with a particular focus on fostering mutual relations. Additionally, at the Nailekhanim Culture Center, embassy personnel received information about Nailekhanim Isayeva, a prominent educator, and the center's activities. The meeting concluded with an exchange of gifts between the parties.
