On September 5, 2023, a meeting was held with the representatives of Türkiye's Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University at Khazar University.

The meeting was attended by the rector of Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Prof.Dr. Mehmet Gavgali, the representative of the International Relations Office, and Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University, chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, rector of the University Assoc.Prof. Irada Khalilova, vice-rector for Academic Affairs Mahammad Nuriyev, director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbeyli, dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Elza Samadova, dean of the School of Economics and Management Jeyhun Mammadov, dean of the School of Science and Engineering Efendiyeva, deputy dean for Scientific Affairs of the Graduate School of Natural Science, Art and Technology Gunel Bahaddinova, employees of the International Relations Office Fatima Valiyeva, Arzu Badalova and Turan Alizade

During the meeting, enhancing relations between Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University and Khazar University was the main topic of discussion and an agreement of mutual understanding was signed. At the end of the meeting, a mutual gift was presented.

Note that Karamanoğlu, Mehmetbey University is a State University located in Karaman, founded in 2007 with English and Turkish as primary mediums of instruction.
