On July 27, 2023, Gazi University rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız warmly welcomed Prof. Acad.Hamlet Isakhanlı, founder of Khazar University and chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, founder of East West University (Tbilisi, Georgia), Prof. Teimuraz Khurodze, founder of East West University and Alovsat Amirbeyli, director of Public Relations and Media of Khazar University, stating that he was very pleased with the meeting in Ankara.

Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli gave detailed information about Khazar University and East West University, as well as the School of Medicine here.

Prof. Dr. Musa Yildiz mutually emphasized the importance of the work done with Khazar University so far and the importance of continuing cooperation in the future. He expressed confidence that ties will also be established with the East-West University, which has started its activities in Tbilisi.

Prof. Acad.Hamlet Isakhanlı presented the Azerbaijan Friendship Plaque to Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız on behalf of the university, and Musa Yıldız presented the Commemorative Plaque of Gazi University to Hamlet Isakhanli. Musa Yıldız then presented the certificates signed by the rector of the university and the Ankara Directorate of Provoncial Agriculture and Forestry, confirming the tree planting that has become a tradition at Gazi University, to Hamlet Isakhanli, Teimuraz Khurodze and Alovsat Amirbeyli.

In the end, the guests got acquainted with the university accompanied by Professor Chetin Almas of Gazi University.
