On May 5-6, 2023, Saida Izmailova, the instructor of Azerbaijani history at the Department of History and Archeology, together with engineering and humanitarian groups (Russian section), visited the palace complex of the Shirvanshahs state in Icheri Sheher, which has an important place in the history of the country's medieval statehood.

The students were informed about the parts of the complex - Divankhana, Shah Mosque, Shah Tomb, Keygubad Mosque, Seyyid Yahya Tomb, Place of bath and Ovdan. After the excursion, the instructor and students went for a walk in Icheri Sheher.
