On May 6, 2023, a meeting was held at “Planet” restaurant in Baku between the founder of Khazar University, the chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli, the rector of the university, associate professor Irade Khalilova, and the director of Public Relations and Media, Alovsat Amirbeyli, with the president of the Marmara Strategic and Social Research Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver and Mahmut Sakli, a member of the board of the foundation. Issues of interest to the parties were discussed at the meeting.

In the end Dr. Akkan Suver presented a gift to Hamlet Isakhanli and Irade Khalilova.
