On June 24, 2022, Khazar University's Fikret Amirov Conference and Concert Center hosted an end-of-semester concert/examination of freshmen from the university's Music and Fine Arts Department. The event was attended by students and parents. Former faculty member of the university, dancer, People's Artist Jamila Bayramova was a guest of the event.
The event was opened with “Khazar University Anthem“ the music of which belongs to Ramiz Mustafayev and Vasif Adigozalov and lyrics to Hamlet Isaxanli. The anthem was performed by a choir of freshmen (conductor Mahsati Jabbarova).
"Dance of Victory", "Turkmen Dance" and "Zagatala Dance" performed by a girls' dance group, "Indian Dance" performed by soloist and dance director Nazrin Ismayilzade, "Dance with Gaval" was performed by university graduates Leyla Aliyeva, Saida Ojagverdiyeva and Sayyad Jalilova, Oriental and Turkish dances performed by Linay Seyidalizade and Khanim Adishirinli were presented. The boys' dance group (teacher, honored artist Telman Aliyev) performed the "Gazakhi" dance.
The choir performed works by Azerbaijani, Italian and English composers. Soloists - Jamal Fazilov, a first-year student of the School of Economics and Management, sang Tofig Guliyev's song "Baku" (lyrics by Zeynal Jabbarzadeh), Andrey Babayev's "Beautiful love of mine" (“Nazende sevgilim”) (lyrics by Islam Safarli) and Ravan Shahmarli, a first-year student at the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, sang Tofig Guliyev's “Your Beauty Won't Last Forever ”("Sene de qalmaz") and “Golden ring” ("Gizil uzuk") (lyrics by Rasul Rza).
The concert ended with "Homeland dance" performed by a dance ensemble (soloist, dance director and teacher Sabina Ismayilova). At the end of the program, performers, soloists and teachers were invited to the stage to the applause of the audience. The head of the Department of Music and Fine Arts of the University, organizer of the event, honored teacher Zulfiya Sadigov took the stage and thanked the participants, invited them to an exhibition of paintings by doctoral student of the university Fariba Farhangi and the exhibition was viewed.
