On October 12-13, 2021, an international conference entitled " Karabakh yesterday, today and tomorrow" was held under the chairmanship of Okan Yesilot, with the participation of Azerbaijani and Turkish scientists.

Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, founder of Khazar University and chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Elza Samadova, dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences, and Telman Nusratoglu Guliyev, head of the Department of History and Archeology, delivered speeches at the conference and commented on the Karabakh issue from the historical and national perspective.

The two-day conference ended with a dinner for the representatives of Azerbaijan and Turkey on the Bosphorus ship of Uskudar Municipality.
