On February 19, 2020, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and Dr. Hassan Niknafs, the Dean of the School of Science and Engineering, based on an invitation visited Osmangazi University in Eskishehir, Turkey.

The main purpose of this visit was to discuss education and research collaboration between the two universities of Osmangazi and Khazar University. This collaboration will include mutual research work in many fields of engineering, such as Nanotechnology, Material Science, and Bioengineering. Also, it will include student exchange, dual-degree, and joint-degree programs, mainly in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, and Civil Engineering.

The two-member delegation from Khazar University, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, and Dr. Hassan Niknafs met with Prof. Dr. Kemal Senocak, the Rector of Osmangazi University, and with Prof. Dr. Vural Butun, the Director of Eskishehir Osmangazi University Central Research Laboratory. All possible educational and research collaboration was discussed and agreed upon. A protocol will be written and signed soon to start such collaboration.
