On 25 November 2019, Khazar University administration and faculties had a meeting with Mrs. Fatima Zohra Iflahen, the Vice President for International Relations of Cadi-Ayyad University in Morocco, who was accompanied by Mr. Mohamed Adil Embarch, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was organized in cooperation with the Moroccan Embassy in Baku. Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and the Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, the Rector of Khazar University, Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov, the Dean of the School of Economics and Management, Dr. Elza Semedova, the Dean of the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Bahman Amani, the Head of English Department, Dr. Elmar Mustafayev, the Head of the Political Sciences and Philosophy Department, Raziya Isayeva, the Director of the Development Centre, Lyudmila Sotova, the Head of the Quality Assurance Centre, as well as Lamiya Panahova, the Coordinator of the International Affairs Office, who made a presentation of Khazar University before the guests, partook in the meeting.
In the framework of the meeting, the talks were held on cooperation in the fields of Maths, Physics, renewable energy, Data Science, and Child Education. Besides, the parties discussed student and staff exchange, Erasmus KA2, research cooperation on Horizon 2020, a double degree program in Tourism and Hospitality Management in the long term, as well as joint conferences. During the talks, the representatives of Khazar University and the Cadi-Ayyad University of Morocco deliberated over organizing summer language schools, as Azerbaijani and English languages being organized in Khazar University, and accordingly, French and Arabic languages in partner University in Morocco.
