Orientation day for new international students was held by International Affairs Office of Khazar University on 13th of September 2019. During the session, new incoming students acquired information about regulations and procedures, academic calendar, as well as tips for living in Azerbaijan.

The session was opened with a fun game that gave students an opportunity to get acquainted with each other. Then Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, the Rector of Khazar University, delivered her greetings and wished students success in their university life.

Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees also joined the session.

At the end of the session, a quiz game was held for the students to assess how much they know about Azerbaijan and to enhance their knowledge about Azerbaijan's history and culture. The participants also received presents on behalf of Khazar University.

The day was concluded by a city tour wherein the International Affairs Office staff guided the students through popular sights in Baku.
