On August 17, 2019, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, received H. E. Kim Tong Op, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan, and Professor Eunkyung Oh, Korean expert in Turkology. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening scientific and research links between Korea and Azerbaijan, Korean universities and KhazarUniversity. Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, the Rector of Khazar University, and Nailakhanim Isayeva, Advisor to the Board of Directors and Trustees of Khazar University, attended the meeting.
