On June 19, 2019, a Solemn Ceremony dedicated to the 9th graduating class of the “Potential School Principals” Course was held at the Marble Hall of Khazar University. The ceremony was attended by the University Leadership, staff, course graduates and guests. At the ceremony, which started with the performance of Khazar University's hymn, participants were presented a concert of the University's Chamber Orchestra (the Artistic Director – Associate Professor Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of Music and Fine Arts Department, honored teacher, pianist), performing works by Azerbaijani and world composers.

Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, delivering an extensive speech, highlighted the importance of education in the globalizing world of modern times, including the important tasks, faced by Azerbaijan's education system, the significance of the management knowledge and experience gained by the graduates during

the three months course in successfully performing these tasks. Furthermore, he expanded on with recommendations and wished them a successful career.

Then the graduates of the course were presented with the “Professional Development Certificate”. The certificates were awarded by Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, Associate Professor Elza Samedova, Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Raziya Isayeva, Director of the Development Center and teachers of the course. Memorable photos were taken.

Delivering speech on behalf of the graduates, Ilahakhanim Hajiyeva conveyed her gratitude to University Leadership, course facilitators and teachers for organization of the course and teaching in a high-level, and indicated that management skills and career habits gained during the course will play an important role in their further careers. Former graduate of the course Mahsuna Azizova, Director of the School #232, said that the experience she obtained from the course, have greatly contributed to her practical work.

A presentation with slideshow of photographs taken during the lessons of the course was demonstrated. The graduation ceremony continued around the tea table.

It should be noted that the course “Potential School Principals” has been functioning since 2014 and has awarded over 650 certificates to the graduates, more than 50 of them have been appointed as directors and deputy directors.
