On May 8-12, 2017, Ms. Gunay Farzaliyeva, Coordinator of International Affairs Office, participated in the International Staff Week organized within the Erasmus+ Programme at Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland. Participants included administrative and academic staff members from various universities of Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, UK, and USA.
It was the second time that Khazar University participated in the International Staff Week at Kozminski University. This year's staff week focused on effective management of the internationalization process. Discussions included work-life balance, future learning tools, organization of engagement of international students in university life actively, preparation of students for a job market, and many others.
During the staff week, Gunay Farzaliyeva delivered a presentation about Khazar University and its internationalization strategy. She met with the representatives of participating universities and discussed possible cooperation opportunities with them. Ms. Farzaliyeva also represented the university in the networking event organized in the form of fair of universities where partner universities had a chance to meet with both their students on exchange and prospective exchange students from Kozminski University. Gunay met with two bachelor students from the School of Economics and Management of Khazar University who are currently on a semester-long exchange at Kozminski University.
