On February 11-12, 2017, Dunya School Model UN Conference was held in Khazar University’s affiliate Dunya School. The conference was jointly organized by Dunya School Student Union and “Azəri Yurdu” Youth Public Union. The aim of the conference was to help students shape diplomatic point of view and develop communication and leadership skills. The conference consisted of three committees: 1. UN General Assembly; 2. UN Security Council; 3. UN Economic and Social Council. The conference topics included “Anti-terrorist activities”, “Security Situation in Turkey”, “International Migration and its Impact on Economic Development”.

On February 12, 2017, the closing ceremony of the conference was held. Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, made a speech and shared his opinion about the conference. Participants of the conference were awarded with certificates.

Nailakhanim Isayeva, co-founder of Khazar University's affiliate Dunya School and Advisor to the Board of Directors and Trustees for Humanitarian and Organizational Affairs, also participated at the conference.
