On January 24, 2017, a meeting with Professor Ali Polad, writer and researcher, honorary member of the Writers’ Associations in Azerbaijan and Turkey, was held in Khazar University’s affiliate Dunya School. The main purpose of the meeting was to present Prof. Polad’s new books – The Power of Water, Long Live Water Drinking!, Water: My Life Energy.

Two films highlighting the life of Ali Polad and the history of  Dunya School were shown to the participants.

Professor Polad spoke about the health benefits of water drinking. Aynur Abdullayeva and Alsu Asadli, Dunya School’s fifth grade pupils, made interesting presentations about water. Then the school dance group performed dances.

Speeches about Ali Polad’s creative activities were made by Solmaz Rustamova-Tohidi, Senior Researcher of the Ziya Bunyadov Oriental Studies Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Etibar Babayev, vice-president of ATV.

The meeting ended with a library tour; Ali Polad presented some of his books to the school library.
