On December 17, 2016, a forum on academic recruitment of alumni of the “State Program for Foreign Education of Azerbaijani Youth in the years 2007-2015” was held at ADA University. Participants in the event included Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Education; Shahmar Movsumov, Executive Director of the State Oil Foundation; Akif Alizadeh, President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences; Hafiz Pashayev, Rector of ADA University; and other administrative members of higher education institutions as well as alumni of master’s and PhD programs abroad.

Dr. Mukhtar Hajizada, Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Khazar University and alumnus of the State Program, made a presentation at the event. He especially noted the importance of the event for the economy of Azerbaijan in light of current challenges.
