On December 14, 2016, a meeting was held between Khazar University and the Oil and Gas Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences about partnership. Participants in the meeting included Dr. Eldar Shahgaldiyev, Head of the Division for Graduate Students and Research; PhD students of the Khazar University Department of Petroleum Engineering, Ali Atefi and Mesud Mehrizadeh; Professor Vagif Gulamov, Deputy Director of the ANAS Oil and Gas Institute; Dr. Rauf Nadirov, and Rauf Mukimov, Head Engineer of the Oil and Gas Institute. A discussion was held about future partnership opportunities.
