On October 20, 2016, representatives of the Yunus Emre Institute met with Khazar University students. Students watched a video about the Institute and were given information about Turkish classes for students wishing to study in Turkey as well as the upcoming “Discover Ahmet Hamdi Tanpinar” essay competition dedicated to the great Turkish poet and writer. The students demonstrated interest in the activities and programs of the Institute. At the end of the event Associate Professor Vurghun Eyyub, Chair of the Azerbaijani Language and Literature Department, thanked the guests for their presentation and encouraged the students to participate in the language classes and the Ahmet Hamdi Tanpinar writing contest.
