On October 21, 2016, a training seminar was held for Khazar University staff members as part of the “Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan” (ESFIDIP) Tempus project. During the training, Rima Mammadova, coordinator of the Center for Students with Disabilities at Khazar University, spoke about disabilities, ethical treatment of students with disabilities, inclusive education, the ESFIDIP Tempus project, and volunteer opportunities in the Center for Students with Disabilities.

Participants in the training seminar included Dr. Elza Semedli, Dean of the School of Education; Turan Jafarova, Director of International Affairs Office; Vafa Aslanova, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Aysel Gasimova, Assistant to the Dean of the School of Education; Bahar Imanova, Assistant to the Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management; Nushaba Taghiyeva, Assistant to the Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Jamila Guliyeva, Librarian; and Sevinj Shafiyeva, Khazar University’s designer.

Participants in the training shared their own views and provided suggestions.
