On October 14, 2016, Dr. Elza Semedli, Dean of the School of Education, visited School number 232 by the invitation of Mahluga Azizova, who has newly been appointed Director of the school and who graduated from the course for Potential School Directors at Khazar University. Dr. Semedli met with teachers and parents of the school as part of the “School/University Partnership” project. The objective of the meeting was to increase parents’ awareness of the new curriculum system and help teachers with areas in which they needed extra assistance. Parents’ questions (specifically about assessment) were answered at the meeting, and it was noted that teachers play a major role in solving problems.

After the meeting Dr. Semedli also met separately with teachers to discuss areas of interest to them.
