On October 11, 2016, Dr. Hassan Niknafs, President of Khazar University, met with new international undergraduate students who had been accepted to Khazar University in the 2016-2017 academic year. Meeting participants included Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Turan Jafarova, Director of the International Affairs Office; Gunay Farzaliyeva, Coordinator at International Affairs Office. The meeting was organized by the International Affairs Office and took place on the university’s Neftchilar campus.

Dr. Hassan Niknafs welcomed the students and opened the meeting by giving important information regarding students’ academic programs at Khazar University. Students shared their academic concerns with the university administration. Turan Jafarova informed the students about the upcoming orientation session which is organized for all new international students.

In the current academic year, Khazar University accepted undergraduate students from Afghanistan, Cameroon, Gambia, Iran, Iraq, and Zimbabwe.
