On June 21-23, an art exhibition of the young artist Afshan Asedova was held in Exhibition Hall named after Vajiha Samadova. It was coordinated jointly by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. Associate Professor Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of the Department of Music and Fine Arts, Khazar University, textile artist Afaq Kerimova, instructor at at the department, university`s artist Mir Rafig Abdulrahimov, designer of “Khazar Review” Nigar Aydemirova and students participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

People`s artist, Aghali Ibrahimov, secretary of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, Honored Art Worker Ziyadkhan Aliyev,  the chairman of the German-Azerbaijani Society, culturologist Chingiz Abdullayev made speeches indicating the importance of the exhibition.

It was mentioned that, the art works presented to the exhibition by the talented artist were in batik, graphic, fashion genres. These art works, which are of great interest both for their genre diversity and processing techniques, are the products of rich horizon and hard work. About 40 art works demonstrated at the exhibition covered different topics. Reflecting emotions via colors and philosophical approach were the basic subject of the works.

In her speech A.Asadova extended her gratitude to those who contributed to the organization of the exhibition. Then the participants got familiarized with the exhibition.
