Team Imagine of Khazar University on Student World TV Show

On June 15, 2016, the Imagine Team of Khazar University appeared on the Student World TV program. The program is broadcast on AZTV, a state TV channel. 

 

The Team’s appearance on the TV show was dedicated to its victory in the P2P: Challenging Extremism Program and its upcoming visit to the USA to present their marketing campaign to the senior judges and compete for the main prize.

 

Members of the team Imagine spoke about their experience participating in the program, working on the marketing campaign, and the preparation to their upcoming presentation in Washington, D.C. on June 27, 2016. Dinara Katibli spoke about the origin of the team’s name. “Almost every project usually begins with “let’s imagine” words – we as a team wanted to imagine this world without extremism,” explained Dinara. Narmin  Zari, spoke about the upcoming presentation in the USA and the team’s expectations from it. Erlan Suleymanov emphasized how important it was to protect younger generations from various forms of violent extremism. Alihuseyn Agayev spoke about the team’s presence online and how it utilized various social media outlets to promote their campaign and reach out to a wider audience.

 

Ms. Turan Jafarova, Director of International Affairs Office, gave an interview about the P2P: Challenging Extremism program, its goal and Khazar University’s participation in it.
