On June 14, 2016, the selection process for the 2016-2017 academic year was completed. The results of the selection process have been communicated to all candidates via email.

The selection process at Khazar University is a rigorous three-stage process that includes application screening, application review and interviews and it is carried out by the selection sub-committees formed by each school.

Applicants from all over the world showed interest in Khazar University and its International Scholarship Program. As a result, Khazar University received more than 600 applications from around 50 countries. Detailed information about admission requirements was available on the website and interested candidates were informed via various communication channels from the opening of the international admission cycle until the deadline. Despite that, around 30% of applications, those missing one or more of the required documents, did not pass the first stage of the selection procedure – application screening. 

As in previous years, a large number of strong and highly-competitive applications were received. The Selection Committee had a difficult task of choosing among numerous outstanding candidates. A number of applicants received full tuition fee scholarships. Taking into consideration the high interest of applicants and the quality of applications, the selection committee also offered a limited number of partial scholarships.
