A chess match held at Khazar University’s affiliate Dunya School completed successfully. Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Nailakhanim Isayeva, Advisor to the Board of Directors and Trustees for Humanitarian and Organizational Affairs, school administration, a group of national champions and winners among children, students and parents participated in the match.

In the opening speech Hamlet Isaxanli highlighted the importance of chess and highly appreciated the role of this kind of events in the development of children`s logical thinking.

 Elshad Rzayev, FIDE chess master refereed the match. Shelale Huseynova, Dunya School chess teacher participated in the event as well. The games played on 45 boards synchronously were full of tension and good impressions.

The winners were awarded with diplomas and presents.
