Khazar Staff Members Visit Dendrology Institute

Ismayilova, Assistant to the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature,
and Julia Krajcarz, visiting researcher from Poland who is learning the
Azerbaijani language and culture in the same department, visited the Institute
of Dendrology of ANAS (Azerbaijan
National Academy of Science) in Mardakan. This garden used to be the country
house of the oil magnate Murtuza Mukhtarov. In the XX century
Russian poet Sergei Yesenin lived there as well. They first visited the museum
of Murtuza Mukhtarov and then the museum of Sergei Yesenin. During the visit
they got familiarized with the species of birds and
flora of the Institute of Dendrology.
