On June 8, 2016, an art exhibition coordinated by the Department of Music and Fine Arts was held in Khazar University’s Marble Hall in honor of the university’s 25th anniversary. University administrators, staff members, students and guests participated in the event.

Afag Karimova, designer and university instructor, opened the event with information about the exhibition. Then Dr. Kubra Aliyeva, art scholar; Asif Azarelli, Meritorious Artist; Dr. Esmira Fuad of Nizami Literature Institute of ANAS; Dr. Telman Ibrahimov, Director of Azim Azimzada Baku Art School; Meritorious Artist Rais Rasulzada; and artist Rafael Alizadeh made speeches, shared their opinions of the student works, and congratulated the university on its 25th anniversary.

Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, noted that the university not only gives students professional education; it also strives to improve their cultural knowledge and formation of their sense of aesthetics.

After a brief concert by the Khazar University Chamber Orchestra, students presented their works one by one and were presented certificates “for Successful Art Works in Honor of Khazar University’s 25^th Anniversary.”  Rais Rasulzada, Asif Azarelli, and Rafael Alizadeh handed out the certificates.
