On April 27, 2016, students made presentations of solar electric cars they built as part of a project of the Khazar University Department of Electronics and Telecommunications. Students of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences participated in teams. Five teams made up of 10 students participated in the project. A jury of instructors from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences judged the cars and determined a winner.
