Meeting with Universities and Education Companies from Poland, Iran, and Iraq

On April 22, 2016, Khazar University hosted the representatives of universities and education companies from Poland, Iran, and Iraq at its Neftchilar campus. The event was organized by Akademi Group Study Abroad company in cooperation with the International Affairs Office and the PR and Media Center.

Participants of the event included Dr. Hassan Niknafs, President; Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-President for Academic Affairs; and Gunay Farzaliyeva, Assistant to the Director of the International Affairs Office. Guests included representatives of the Warsaw School of Economics, Rony Company for Educational Services, Universal Education, Light Education Group, and Oskar Education and Consulting.

Dr. Hassan Niknafs, the President of Khazar University, opened the event with a welcome speech and briefly introduced Khazar University to the guests. Gunay Farzaliyeva, Assistant to the Director of the International Affairs Office, gave a presentation about Khazar University, its schools and programs, its rankings among universities inside and outside of Azerbaijan, and its international partnerships and cooperation with other universities around the world. Representatives from each of the participating universities and companies also delivered presentations.

The event concluded with a discussion of possible future cooperation.
