The tradition of international cooperation at Khazar is as old as the university itself. Building international partnerships has been a priority of the university since its establishment. The internationalization process is carried out in various directions, one of which is implementing mutually beneficial partnership programs with companies and organizations. For this reason Khazar University partners with numerous governmental and non-governmental organizations, industries and private companies, international foundations, etc.
Embassies of countries such as the USA, South Korea, Turkey, and Japan support Khazar University by providing equipment, organizing academic visits of foreign professors and researchers, organizing student exchange programs and searching for partners in their countries.
Along with embassies, there are organizations which help Khazar with equipment, including: ISEE Caucasus, which located its library at Khazar University; Middle East University in Ankara, Turkey, which provides support for the library of Khazar University; “Sonmes Kilichli Punto,” which provided equipment for an auditorium for the Political Science Department; and Azercell, which equipped the “E-learning room” at Khazar University.
Khazar University has close partnerships with various companies, corporations, and international organizations which include EY (Ernst & Young), PricewaterhouseCoopers, Philip Morris, Azersun Holding, TÜSIAB (Azerbaijan International Society of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen), Hyatt International, Coca-Cola Azerbaijan, McDermott, Norwegian Humanitarian Enterprise (NHE), UN, UNESCO, UNICEF and many others. Alumni of Khazar University hold leadership positions in many of these organizations.
The internationalization strategy of Khazar University creates a welcoming environment for foreign students and professors, results in recognition of the university within and outside of Azerbaijan, and ensures constant improvement in the quality of education.
