Prof. Abdolhossein Naseri focuses on Biosensors for illness diagnosis especially cancer diagnosis, Nanomaterial for designing of chemical sensors and biosensors, Chemical data analysis; Chemical data fitting or hard modeling, Calibration in analytical chemistry; from univariate to multivariate regression, Classification and Pattern Recognition using multivariate chemical data, Chemometrics study of chemical equilibria, Optimization of different extraction methods and Electrochemical analysis using design of experiments . Additionally, we are working on early stage detection of some silent illness such as different cancers.
Prof. Hamishehkar focuses on Instructing and managing practical pharmaceutical technology including pharmaceutical solutions and powder technology for pharmacy undergraduate students
Physical pharmacy including states of matter, ionic equilibria, buffered and isotonic solutions and
Pharmaceutics: Nano structures in drug delivery, injectable preparations, pulmonary drug delivery
Pharmaceutical dosage forms. Another interested fields including chromatographic techniques,
cleanroom design for compounded sterile preparations in hospitals and nontoxicity.
Dr. Mohammad Reza Afshar Mogaddam focuses on designing various sample preparation methods for isolating analytes from complex matrices and the subsequently separating, identifying, and determining these species. The primary separation tools used by his group include gas chromatography, liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis coupled with a variety of detection systems, including various mass spectrometry techniques. Currently, our researches is centered on eliminating of organic solvents or developing of new generation solvents for use in the sample preparation step to facilitate on-site monitoring and in-vivo analysis. Ionic liquids, water-lean solvents, and deep eutectic solvents are among the alternative solvents being explored. Additionally, we are working on designing of new non-invasive methods, Breathomics and Metabolomics for the analyzing of different compounds in biological fluids.
Dr. Balal Khalilzedeh focuses on designing Electrochemical and electrochemiluminescence based sensors and biosensors, nanomaterials synthesis and applications. Also, early detection of silent diseases like most types of cancers and neurodegenerative diseases by the developed biosensors.
Prof. Hosseini focuses on Corrosion Science and Engineering, Surface Science and Engineering, Electroplating and Metal finishing, Smart Nanocomposites, Extraction of Metals (Hydrometallurgy), Electrochemistry, Fuel Cells, Solar Cells, Super capacitors, Lithium ion batteries, Nanomaterials Chemistry and Renewable using design of experiments.
Prof. Asadpour focuses on Electrochemical Analysis, Electroplating and Metal finishing, Smart Nanocomposites, Extraction of Metals(Hydrometallurgy), Electrochemistry, Fuel Cells, Solar Cells, Super capacitor, Nanomaterials Chemistry and Renewable using design of experiments
Tahir Javadzade focuses on synthesis, structural and theoretical investigation of metal-organic compounds and investigation their practical application in different fields. Except from this, he is working on finding the best synthetic and natural sorbents for the removal of heavy metals from oil production polluted waters.
