The aim of DRA and mapping is to provide a clear picture regarding the hazard and vulnerability in the targeted areas. This information is used during the awareness raising process, which is the initial stage of mainstreaming. Also based on this assignment, I created a Community-based disaster risk management framework and developed strategies for incorporating disaster risks into development plans to protect communities from natural hazards (floods, droughts, landslides, forest fires, etc.). To this end, we have organized a week-long disaster risk reduction and management training for communities. |
