On April 2-3, 2022, Abdul-Rahman Balogun Muhammed-Shittu, the doctoral student at the Department of Education, presented his research work at an international conference. In his presentation, "How Peaceful Protest Turned into Violence: The Role of Muslim Researchers and Western Ideology," Abdul-Rahman Balogh spoke about the persecution of Muslim researchers in Nigeria and how the peaceful movement against it turned into violent clashes. Abdul-Rahman Balogu answered questions at the end of his speech. His article on this study was published in the final minutes of the conference.

The “3^rd International Interdisciplinary Violence Conference”, held in a hybrid format, brought together researchers from Turkey, Russia, India and other countries.
