On June 10, 2019, the 2^nd International Conference on “Operators, Functions, and Systems of Mathematical Physics” (OFSMP), held annually and dedicated to the modern problems of mathematical physics, commenced its work at the Marble Hall of Khazar University. The main purpose of the Conference is to discuss the latest achievements and progress of mathematical physics and its methods.

The Conference is attended by the leadership and staff members of Khazar University, academics and specialists from the institutes of ANAS, local universities, and over 60 well-known mathematicians and media members from 23 countries of the world.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and Associate Professor, Irada Khalilova, the Rector of the University, welcomed the participants and wished success to the Conference’s work.

It should be noted that the 1^st OFSMP Conference was held on May 21-24, 2018 on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of Professor Hamlet Isakhanli and then it was decided to hold it annually.

It is also worth mentioning that this Conference was recognized by the International Association of Mathematical Physics and was granted the financial support of this Association.

The Conference will conclude its work by 15^th of June.
