On April 15, 2016, a national conference entitled “Issues of Setting up Electronic Libraries” was held by the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The conference was opened by Academic Rasim Aliquliyev, Director of the ANAS Information Technologies Institute. The objective of the conference was to discuss multidisciplinary issues related to electronic libraries, which have become a priority issue in the country. The conference also included lectures and question-and-answer sessions.

Saida Orujova, staff member of Khazar University Library Information Center, attended the conference.
