A meeting with Taha Sawar, Rector of Pakistan's Northern University, was held at Khazar University on September 28, 2026.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Razia Isaeva, Rector of Khazar University; Lyudmila Sotova, Director of the Quality Assurance Center; faculty deans; and staff of the International Relations Department.

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation between the two universities, prospects for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), as well as future directions of academic and institutional cooperation were discussed.

The parties exchanged views on developing inter-university relations and establishing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
