On September 8, 2026, the presentation ceremony for Dr. Elvin Ahmadov's "High Esteem" international award was held at Khazar University. Dr. Elvin Ahmadov is among the scholars and specialists who have worked effectively in the oil and gas industry, science, and education for many years, contributing to the training of young specialists through his scientific and pedagogical activities. He currently serves as Head of Department at Khazar University while also holding a leading position at SOCAR in the field of reservoir evaluation and hydrocarbon reserves management. His work with students and young researchers is also one of the important directions of this activity. His scientific work is not limited to academic articles alone. He has also actively taken part in projects supporting the engagement of students and young researchers in scientific activity, their participation in international conferences, and their professional development.
