The Department of Chemistry and Chemical engineering is organizing the “Intensive Summer School for Chemistry Education”, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Khazar University.
The Summer School brings together students from different higher education institutions, including Khazar University, Baku Higher Oil School, Baku State University and Baku Engineering University, providing them with an opportunity to strengthen their theoretical knowledge through intensive practical and laboratory-based training.
The program covers four major areas of chemistry- Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Oil Chemistry. Particular emphasis is placed on experimental teaching, allowing students to gain hands-on experience with laboratory procedures, chemical analysis, synthesis, experimental techniques and the practical application of concepts studied in their university courses.Through laboratory sessions and practical activities, participants become familiar with experimental approaches used in different branches of chemistry and develop essential skills in conducting experiments, handling laboratory equipment, interpreting experimental results, and working safely and effectively in a laboratory environment.
Organized as part of the events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Khazar University, the Summer School highlights the University’s continued contribution to the development of chemistry education, scientific thinking, and practical laboratory skills among young specialists.
