Among the graduates admitted to higher education institutions this year are also the children of Azerbaijani sons who sacrificed their lives against the Armenian occupiers during the 44-day Patriotic War and rose to the rank of martyr. According to information from the ZAFAR Public Union for the Support of Martyrs' Families, three of the graduates who earned the title of student and are children of martyrs have chosen Khazar University.

Elmir Rahimzade, son of martyr Sergeant Major Ruslan Rahimov (Organization of Tourism Business, in English, full-time); Ramaldan Ramaldanov, son of martyr Lieutenant Colonel Babak Ramaldanov (Computer Engineering, full-time); and Zarda Amrahova, daughter of martyr Chief Warrant Officer Emin Amrahov (Philology, Azerbaijani Language and Literature, full-time), have earned the title of students at Khazar University.
