On December 25, 2015, Samira Kalantarli, a graduate of Khazar University’s former School of Medicine with a concentration in Medical Biology, defended her dissertation on “Morphometric characteristics of Ki-67 and PHHZ immunihistochemical markers in breast cancer” at Azerbaijan State Medical Institution’s Dissertation Council.

The Dissertation Council voted unanimously to recommend Kalantarli for a Doctor of Medical Sciences diploma by the Higher Attestation Commission of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic.
